Anti-inflammatories are part of the standard treatment for severe COVID-19 (when a person is in hospital).

However, they cannot be recommended for prevention of COVID-19, since they partially suppress the immune system, which makes it more likely that you will not be able to control the virus, and you are more likely to suffer from severe COVID-19.

So, if you are on anti-inflammatory medication, be sure to get fully vaccinated as soon as you are eligible
- Until there are very low levels of circulating virus, take precautions like: social distancing, wearing masks and obeying lockdowns, where required (or even if they are not required).
