Assuming such a thing is possible, suppose you've had your mind uploaded into such a device. You can talk to it and verify that it seems to be you to your satisfaction. Would you then willingly kill yourself knowing that this uploaded thing exists? If it's you, then who's talking to it? If it has a new experience, do you feel that experience?
