From the BBC.

For those not appreciating a link with no description, it is a BBC news report stating that the new dark matter map recently announced apparently doesn't correspond to the distribution predicted by GR theory.

I wasn't aware that GR made any specific prediction on this front since different FLRW tunings and different quantum fluctuations very early on can have significant impact on the distribution of matter in a universe evolved over time. In other words, it sounds like some variables in some models will need to be adjusted, just like they had to do with FLRW when they found the surprising acceleration of expansion, or the QM implications that came about due to the CMBR map created some time back.
I think both did have GR implications such as the resurrection of the cosmological constant.
Perhaps this new dark matter finding will help point a way towards a unified field theory.

I think it's mentioned in this paper.
