The benefits of rank
« on: 29/09/2021 17:53:01 »
Hi.

Apparently I'm 5 posts away from being a "Hero Member".   Is it true that high ranking members can change their background to something that isn't bright white?  I'll have that please.

Best Wishes.

I once asked a science question to someone that outranked me, and their reply was "how dare you speak to me!"

As a civilian, I don't have to take orders from the military because I outrank them.

Once I had to phone someone in the military - the person answering the phone can't see your rank, so I got a response ending with "sir?".
After I identified myself, I got the feeling that any rank outranked a civilian.
