Does auto-immune disease affect LFT results?
« on: 12/01/2022 10:28:10 »
Brenda is in need of assistance for this question.

"In one week I had three positive lateral flow tests, two of which I followed up with PCR tests which were negative.  Confused, I rang 119 and was told the PCRs overruled the LFTs...Despite this advice, I self isolated for ten days. Was I infectious? Is it true that people with auto-immune disease are likely to have false positive LFTs?"
