How do we Make a Computer Self Aware?
« on: 04/02/2022 16:30:57 »
At the barest minimum we need the computer to be able to copy the current state of it's registers and flags, and make a descision based on this result. It therefore needs to run a overarching program. In practice the computer would need to copy many instances of it's registers and flags and act on the result.

This would require a bigger computer...

The complexity of artificial cognitive functions is due to the paths that a machine could choose depending on the information it has. Choices can be acquired through deep learning (software and algorithm).
