For what reason does a pad on my stomach make me rest better around evening time
« on: 14/05/2022 10:24:05 »
I rest on my back around evening time with couch pads under my knees, following back a medical procedure around quite a while back. (I'm a male, not exactly 65.) Recently I have been laying down with a weighty cushion on my stomach, weighing around 12 pounds or thereabouts, and I truly rest better with the pad. Additionally, presently I don't have the tendency around evening time to rest on my side. Some way or another this pad is by all accounts enacting something like a wrapping up reaction, and so forth.

Any contemplations on this?

I fell in love with baseball from a very young age. I have memories of playing my first minor league baseball game when I was 7 years old.

Hello Zane Willer & Welcome to TNS!

Sorry for the delayed response.

Applying pressure on the stomach should make one feel uneasy.

My best guess is, maybe it is providing warmth from the outside & subsequently helping stomach muscles to relax.

P.S. - Hope you have a good time in here.

(I've also heard a myth of sorts, laying down on your left side helps with digestion, no clue if it's true)
