Making Your Own Memes...
« on: 25/01/2024 12:12:42 »
I just wanted to share with you all. I created this meme at a public library in Livonia, MI Jan. 4th. I just used the paint program. Most library PC's have it too. It's based on an existing one I've been sharing various places for several years now.

Anyways, you will notice I include two versions. The first one I made and the corrected version. I forgot to the spacing between the lines like I usually do. So I simply cut and pasted the original meme. And I found a simple say to correct your mistakes. This going to sound weird. But if you trick the paint program into thinking you are putting white text on a white background, you can cover your mistakes. There was a small smudge on the lower right corner. (For some reason to save it that way you to actually type something. I just hit the period out of force of habit. But an A, B, 1, whatever would do too.)

Actually, I got that fancy silver text/image from here: https://cooltext.com/Logo-Design-Gold-Trim  Choose "LEGAL" if you want to use the one I did. I actually have been remaking some old meme's I have made. Like this one (attached).

As you can see, I just replaced the old text with the LEGAL one. And it's interesting. To make the background pink, I had to create a new pink back ground with pink text. I already have saved backgrounds on my PC. But when I use them, the LEGAL text is given a white background on the pink, etc. one. I still don't know why.

Also, with the LEGAL, etc. text-images on that website, they sometimes have certain letters and characters. And sometimes they don't. As you can see, they have the Latin backwards E. But they never seem to have accented letters. Like ?, ?, ?, ?, ū. Actually, I don't even know if this message board has them. I just typed an accented A, E, I, A and a U with a line over it. If it doesn't show up.

BTW you can also find the paint program on Wordpad if you still use it. Start making a Wordpad document and click on "Paint drawing" in the upper right corner (there's an artist's pallet icon on mine).
