With the fast approach of the Canadia and Green land war between Europe and the USA, I wonder whether Trump has seen the size of it on a map?  Mercators projection has the habit of turning Greenland into a rival of Africa for size, a similar effect occurs for Canada. You have to wonder whether the impending terrible loss of life could be avoided if someone got him an atlas globe.

It all comes down to Machiavelli's principle: nothing makes a dictator more popular than a war. The trick is to pick one you can win. An island with a population of 57,000, half of whom are likely to vote for independence from Denmark, looks  like a winnable target. Like Grenada, Cuba, Vietnam, Iraq, and other shining examples of American military incompetence.
