This is the tomb of my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather Edward Lewis, Sheriff of Glamorganshire in southern Wales. He was born during the last year of Henry VII (1508) and died one year after the Virgin Queen took the throne (1560). His great-great-great-great-great-great grandson fought in the Revolutionary War against the very people he served.
