What is the fibre used in making a tea bag?
« on: 27/04/2004 16:23:41 »
I mainly drink coffee...and ocassionaly I like a cup of black tea.....now I just made wifey a cuppa and it dawned on me that Mr/Mrs/Ms tea bag has to go through quite a traumatic time...right from manufacturing , through to packing and then being dowsed in almost boiling water....and it does all this while not splitting and letting water in and not letting leaves out.

So, what's the special fibre that is used ?..it must be tough eh ?..is it a paper thing or what [?]
