The 850 was interesting, but way over-priced for what it was. I believe it was around £80k. And for a 5.6 litre V12 engine, it wasn't that quick (0-60mph in 6 seconds, top speed of 155mph - although the late models could reach 180mph+).

To be honest though..I'm a merc man but always had a soft spot for the big BeeMer !..and the old 6 series too !

Those McLaren Mercs are as good to drive as they look. I liked setting fire to the brakes!

Almost. They've got ceramic brakes that glow red & flame if you stand on the brake pedal from about 150mph. Plus there's an air-brake that pops up from the rear of the car.
