I hate spiders, is there a way to make some sort of spider repellant? What are spiders scared of, could also be the question.

Paul - I've not tried this myself, but several people in my area swear this works. I have a serious overpopulation of spiders in my home and I'm terrified of them(along with snakes, and birds). I keep meaning to try this but always forget to buy the coconut oil. Let me know if you try it.
Combine 1 quart of straight, white distilled vinegar with 1 teaspoon virgin coconut oil.
Some people spray it all along their ceilings and base boards and others have told me to spray where spiders are likely to make webs. It supposedly helps make existing webs easier to clean up and prevents them from rebuilding and also repels spiders.
My concern was the oil leaving a nasty residue on my walls, but I'm told there isn't enough oil in the mixture to do any damage.

I have a few spiders, but within reason, I find the spiders less irritating than the things they feed on, so I might make a cull of spiders now and again, but on the whole am not too fussed by them.

We luff spiders in our home !...we treat them as fly catching pets !...as you may know I kept one in my ear for a few days.
Although, the girlys are a little wary of them , they accept them.
Paul....try a placard saying ' Spiders Keep Out '....if that doesn't work then it's time to get tuff !!

All the way around my room in here are beautiful lovely spiderwebs they are also in the corner of me desk under my printer shelf.. lol sometimes I see them coming and going with parts of other insects into to their web LOL.. If I have one particularly scary looking I take him out and let him go.. Usually we are quite symbiotic..LOL
