Given the board includes "Flora and Fauna, Birds and Bees," I'm a bit intrigued why it's just called the "Plant Sciences". Am I being pedantic?

No, not pedantic - very observant I'd say. [;D]

But does plant sciences then not exclude animals? The forum also includes those

I don't know the 'politics' here myself yet very well but perhaps there's a reason why the forum has not been named more concicely.

A friendly mod will surely be along soon to explain

This has been discussed...I concur with what rationale you used to ask the question. That's all I can say for now !!

I suspect there is some espionage involved here and it is from an outsider who may not be considered a threat among us. I believe the infiltrator to be a plant.

Rereading this thread and my post just now I see what a lot of rubbish and no sense mine above makes. Sometimes I could really slap myself for being so hare brained.

But..... an infiltrator you say Andrew..... and one that is NOT a threat. Now *that* IS highly unusual.

Perhaps the powers that be might yet be amenable to a wee change?

It's been know to happen

sometimes

even with powers that be involved ....

Very good Andrew. Or maybe we can all watch an episode of The Bulb and the Beautiful...less dramatic. :)

Gee, I want to know about the plants and the bees. What's it all about, mommy?

"Go ask your Father," she replied.

Teacher thought, "Don't these parents teach their children anything these days" and then replied "Once upon a time there was this little seed." LOL
