I know the answer....it's all to do with how actors are connected together with their appearences along side Kevin Bacon in films ( I suppose you could use any actor eh?)...due to the relatively petite world that is the acting arena there are variables and formulas that manifest themselves due to the fact that they group into batches (the batches being the cast of a film) and the many relationships and connections with each batch too ....(smug mode[:D])...

Wouldn't have got it without that hint though.

I'm always amazed when I see people from the North American continent writing 'math'. What happened to the 's' on the end ? Or should we be calling it 'mathematic' these days ?
