Why do I sneeze when I look at the sun ?

Why do I sneeze when I look at the sun ?

does anyone know why when i look at a bright light i sneeze this happens to other people too is it a reflex to get you to stop looking at bright light to protect your eyes?

Interesting, no the other thing... tedious.

We've discussed this one before, but here's a quick link to the answer, which is that this phenomenon is known as the photic sneeze reflex and affects about 1 person in 4
