How Do You Come To Grips With Roller Coaster Feeli
« on: 05/06/2006 04:54:36 »
How do you come to grips with feelings changing, thoughts cross the mind, giving strong feelings, then changes..

I see that I anticipate anguish... and don't want to face the issue again.

I like to document my thoughts and feelings, then look back, I find I try to justify or explain my feelins. It is hard to recall emotional comprehension.

Everyone finds the coping mechanism that is best for their personality. You seem to find journalling very useful. You are doing the right thing - feeling the feelings and admitting them to yourself. Repressing them will drive you insane or cause interpersonal dysfunction. For all humans, time is the only long-term solution.

You have a problem with rollercoasters...so does my sweetie...it is a real joy to take him on one as he makes me laughs as he has a squeamish feeling but he still will get on one with me...lol
