Hello everyone,,
I've just moved into a new flat and I can't figure out how to use the oven. The make/model is a Kaiser Elegance. There are two nobs - one with numbers, and one with small diagrams. Some of the ink has rubbed off. I've tried turning the one with numbers to the desired temp. but I don't know which way to turn the other one. I've tried it on every setting but the oven never even gets warm. Am I missing a step?

Did you light the gas or turn the electricity on. Have you paid the electricity and gas company recently.
