I was reading the article on brain cells and at the bottom is a section entitle "Nature's Poisonous Bounty" with 3 pictures of poisonous creatures. I can't see the relevance to the rest of the page. Has this section been linked to the wrong page?

If you read the article you'll see that it talks about ion channels and the poisonous animals are toxic by virtue of their venom blocking these membrane pores.

I did read the article and I did note the mention of ion channels. But, even so, that section at the bottom seems a bit spurious. If there was some mention of venom in the article it would make a lot more sense.

Dear Matron,

The good doctor seems to be having another attack. Please bring his medication. The calcium channel, the potassium channel and the sodium channel are all mentioned in both the body of the article and also in the types of channels blocked by the poison. It may only be a slight leap of cognition but it is a sign of serous worsening of his condition.
