How good are online education programmes ?

how good are those online degree programs, I've been offered an awesome deal to earn a degree in the field I wanted to study for a long time now. How good are they?Also tell me from where i can got information About it.

Some of them are fine; but you have to be careful as some are rubbish. Which "college" are you thinking of studying with?

I wouldn't trust any course that I hadn't been personally recommended. If you are in the UK, the Open University has a good reputation, though.
Google the course and college and look for specific comments in forums.

There are some good ones out there - but definitely some crap ones as well where you're degree won't really be worth anything.  I'd suggest that you just make sure it's an accredited school by the right officials, do some research and don't just take the school's word for it because obviously they can be a bit biased.  Mod edit - links removed Hope that helps a bit, good luck with things!

Hi Rosiered. It is worth noting the dates on the posts. This thread dates from 2008. I expect the enquirer has found a course and got a good way through his degree by now.  [;D]
