With Halloween just around the corner, what are everyone's favourite horror/scary movies??

My top 5 (in no particular order):

Rosemary's Baby
Psycho
The Birds
The Omen (The original)
The Exorcist

Honourable Mentions:
1408
The Shining
Session 9
Children of The Corn

Don't know that I have a favorite, but the ones that scared the crap out of me are:

Psycho
Rosemary's Baby
Children of the Corn (I actually stayed in a town in Kentucky that reminded me of that movie.  It freaked me out and we ended up checking out of the hotel and leaving)

and the one that still effects me to this day is:

The Birds

Oh, I forgot The Others.  Really good.

I don't watch them very often.  I hate watching them by myself and hubby doesn't get into them.

The Sixth Sense... i forgot all about that... so twisted. I think its sad that M Night Shymalan (or however you spell it) hasnt been able to top it. He has gotten so close, especially with Signs, then the movie always falls short.

I couldn't watch it.  Probably just because he creeps me out, but I did like The Sixth Sense.

He could be telling the truth.. especially if he got married in the 80s... everything from the 80s (except me) was scary.

I loved the 80's.  Graduated, sports car, married (20 years later still debating that one), first kid....
