The Brady Bunch Movie
A Very Brady Sequel

brrrrrrrrrr......that's enough !!

That film gave me nightmares [:(]

The Birds, well, I can't personally stand that film, I thought it quite lame.

My all time favourite scary movie has to be Ring, the original mind you. Extreme Asian Tartan films are great [;D]

totally... the original Ring was better, but the Original Grduge (Ju-On) bloody creepy... way better than the Sarah Michelle Gellar version

I haven't actually seen the Gellar version, but I know it would never match up to the original.
When I saw the Grudge for the first time, I had hairs sticking up [;D]

I've never seen the Japanese versions of Grudge and Ring...I just have a thing about reading movies !!

But Dan..have you seen the US version of the ring.....I actually found it quite disturbing !!...serves me right for watching these things at 3am in a darkened room with headphones on !!

The Birds ?....at the time (44 years ago ) it was quite horrific !

The Japanese versions are great, I think they tend to go with a different approach to scaring people. Hollywood is all about things jumping out at you and get get very predictable [;)]
Definitely worth watching though.

I have the American version at home [;)] I like it as I can understand how it all began a lot more easily [:)]
lol why on earth you would watch it using headphones though, that really does add to any scary movie [;)]

I can understand The Birds being a good and scary film at the time. But for me it's a little too dated to be scary now. Plus it's just how everyone runs from them, come on, stay and fight...........all you really need is a baseball team [;)]

But Neil, I'd hold your hand if we watched a horror film, me will protects ewe  [:D]

It's not my hand I'd want ewe to hold !!

Oh ewe  [:I]

I saw the birds when I was 6 or 7. I am petrified of sea gulls now. Going to the beach and not freaking out is a big accomplishment for me. I also have a fear of roadside motels in the middle of the desert...

Then there was Damien and its sequils.. bit the excercist scared me the worst! swirling heads and demonic eyes and the raised writing on her tummy creeped me out... I couldn't sleep after that... Nothing new though! LOL

The original Hills Have Eyes was much freakier than the remake... remakes almost always suck. I am mildly excited for the new Evil Dead movie. yaay Sam Raimi!

I haven't seen the remake of that one, but the original was pretty cool [:)]  Had it on DVD but someone borrowed it and never gave it back, the thing is I have no idea who borrowed it, probably one of my housemates lending it to someone [:(]  Mind you, that was probably a couple of years ago now [;)]

I didn't know they were making a remake of Evil Dead!!! I love Bruce, but I guess he won't be in it.

Yah it should be out some time 2009. Sam Raimi's probably pretty busy right now: Producing the new Evil Dead, The Grudge 3, and directing Spiderman 4

It was a typical Bruce part though [;)]

Another thing I like about the Spiderman movies is how Stan Lee does a cameo as well [;D]

Stan Lee was the bus driver wasnt he? I just remember watching it when it came out on DVD with my grandmother, and I saw him and was like OMG its Stan Lee! And my grandmother got all confused cause her last name is Stanley... that story is so much funnier in my mind then in text.
