Fantastic Forum!
« on: 26/12/2008 11:14:53 »
I found this forum by coincidence last week, after watching a documentary about Ronald Mallett's time machine. I had no idea forum's such as this existed, and have spent hours upon hours this week, reading up on various topics (Astronomy and Cosmology being favourites).
I doubt i'll have much to add to the discussions, but maybe i'll ask a question or two.

Keep it up!

Best regards,
Rickard

Hello Rickard and welcome to TNS. I'm the resident rodent and I live in the wardrobe in the corner. I am immensely ignorant in all matters scientific but extremely good at pedantry  [:D]

We are always pleased to see new members and I hope you continue to enjoy the forum. Try listening to the podcasts as well.

One of those things being that beavers are a superior lifeform  [^]

In what way? Do you build one of them beaver dams? Many people are convinced that beavers are unusually intelligent, mostly because their dams are such fine examples of engineering works. The structure of the beaver brain, however, gives no indication of any greater mental capacity than is found in other rodents.

Walking around this forum is like walking around the ward of a mental hospital. We have a Beaver, a sheep, a mad Texan oil man, a man who thinks he is an Olympic cyclist, various members of the god squad,a man who constantly speaks in German, some frisky American women and me. I'm a psychiatrists wet dream but most of all I am a Lady.
