Last night again I struggled to find sleep.
Every way I turned I found no peace.
Every sound was dulled by the pounding pain,

And oh...the moon what a lovely site, with all the stars
twinkling in the night...The brisk cold air when I open
the door, how it stirs and chills me to my core. To snuggle
back down into my chair, and close my eyes if I dare.

What will the morning bring to me? When I open my eyes,
what will I see? I struggle to know why I fear it so,
just to close my eyes and let it all go.It gives me peace
to know for sure, that love is good and true and pure.

If All I leave in this world is love,I pray that, that
is good enough. It is not wealth or material gain but the
gift of my heart of which I gave. I have given such love and
taken it in, and it fills me up... again and again.

Its that which I hold so dear to my heart, the love I've
been given that I'll take when I part. A place that no evil
or pain can ever touch, this place in my heart that has been
loved so very much.

Synthetic Light

Yesterday was full of dreams, swimming round my head it seems..

Filling gaps and empty space, putting smiles on my old face!

What lies ahead I know not today, What was past has passed away!

Memories sweet and soft and true, sweet sweet thoughts of me and you.

Today like a lightening strike, your memories passed through me like the night

leaving me shivering in a synthetic light!

I wish I knew just what to do...So much sorrow in a world so blue!

Can it all be, but an illusion, caught within, with such confusion?

I'll close my eyes to dream again...and always keep it safe within.

That light I saw was bright and rare..I'll take it with me when I leave here!
