You see, I was pushed into religion, my dads side of the family is very religious, well considering my grandad was a deacon or something and my uncle is a priest it was bound to happen. I went to a roman catholic school, both primary and secondary, which would constantly ram down your throat religious studies. However I did used to go to church with my parents, I enjoyed it for a while, but then something happened, it all lost it's glow to me. I still respect it, it's just not for me anymore.

Yes I was brought up Babtist , then I went to a pentecostal and now I am a member of the LDS church and have been for for 14 or 15 years now. I have been inactive for over a year now, as I have had to deal with family issues and health, getting it back!! Seemed overwhelming teaching preschool all day 5 days aweek to 34 kids and then having sunday teaching primary at church for small groups of children... I love it it was my calling, but I was and am worn out and need ed some major me time. I am still very much a believer in God and will always be. Right now I need to be a believer in myself and that has been difficult after many years of not believing in me. I got so lost somewhere alondg the lines.

Yeah, my parents do a lot for the kids at their church, they go to a Evangelica church, they didn't like how boring roman catholics were.

If they're not doing sunday school then they are usually leading the service. It's what they love, and I'm glad they have it, I don't think they would be as happy if they didn't have their faith.

But you definitely need some you time  []

Yes I do and despite all the love and happiness in church, it was just to much for me right now, doesn't deminnish my faith or belief never will!

You can still be devoted even if you don't go to church, that's how I see it. After all, the church is not just a building, it's the people.

I'm not a critic really. If I like something then I like it and if I don't I don't. I'm sure I could have thought of something easier and shorter to say but I couldn't......obviously.....doh....... I sometimes get really confused with the keyboards. We have different types at work....the kind that is split down the middle of the keys......I know great technical term used......I don't care........leave I be........anyway, I'm usually having to go back on myself and delete wrong words or letters, sometimes both, sometimes none. You get the picture.......actually I just lost myself.......damn

Cool, I'm glad you could follow that, unfortunately I have no idea myself. Now that has happened to me a few times, it's like part of my brain shuts down and another part takes over. It sometimes leaves me confused but other times leaves me with a poem []
