Today I wished I could hide from everything, especially my heart and head.
From the thoughts and memories from my head makes my heart so heavy.
It seems to happen every New Year now.
From the loss of a pet to the ending of a relationship.
The endless teasing of my soul, coming face to face of what I truly want, to be taken away as swiftly as it appeared.
The sense of loss and unaccomplished dreams, feeling lost from the stolen moment of joy and happiness.
The misery that now befalls, like it has for the past new years.
Yet with nothing tried, nothing gained.
