For whom my heart waits:

Life is such a lonely thing,
second guessing destinies plan.
Wishing for the best each day,
remaining ever, the solitary man.

With whom can I share today,
to whom shall I give trust?
I shout at the top of my lungs,
surely someone cares, they must!

Again I ask, does anyone hear?
Then returns my echo to me.
Proving only, once and for all,
how alone, I shall forever be.

There's been a mighty storm blowing out side of my window.
The trees swayed back and forth back and forth.

The sounds of the strain from their mighty branches echoed
through my soul, like the sounds of your voice in my ears.

The wrestless leaves blowing to and fro crashing against the pane and pressing at the glass,and flailing their fragile remains, as if crying to come in.

The sounds of the scratching as they scrape at the window, unable to control their course.

Echoing my own thoughts, irrational, and lost, struggling with this human madness that has left me with such a loss.

A brightness shining ever so dimly; in the sky I see some light! a ray, perhaps a trickle of the sunshine that I've lost.

Warmth fills the air, winds cease their force, Tree's gently calming. They sway much lighter in due course.

My mind now like a garbled tablet of words, mixed all around, much like the leaves that were blowing, but now lay still upon the ground.

Oh how I have loved and given of myself, fulfilled desires, only dreams could produce. Followed a rainbow and found at the end, my pot of gold was you!

Taken it, devoured it, the love that you bore, and received it so lovingly, without shame. Given my heart away with knowledge and joy, and believed all the words you proclaimed.

I still Marvel and stand amazed in the love that we found, and will lovingly take it to my grave. The joy that I feel and respect that it gives, will be there forever you see, for it is strongly embedded within my soul, deep in that love that you gave to me.

Such is the strength of your love I have drawn on, and have continued to give from the start. A joy and a love, I have wrapped all around me, and will keep as the treasure of my heart!
