Qi is a very important thing to several religions, and it would be imprudent to make fun of it. (not that you are, just commenting).
the problem with convection currents is that the card is symmetrical, there is nothing to push on. but then again, it does have those inverted dips.
NB im just commenting, not necessarily saying ppl can move things with Qi

If Chi (or Qi) is important to some religions, yet it doesn't exist, what does that tell you about those religions?
Why am I not allowed to make fun of belief sytems that believe the equivalent of "there are fairies at the bottom of my garden but they are invisible so you can't see them"?
If someone turns up on a science website amd says "I think the earth is flat" they will get the piss taken remorselessly.

So if you went into a boxing ring, you wouldn't expect to get punched? Just because someone believes in something does not make that something sacrosanct. If you believe in that stuff and keep it to yourself, well, that's fine - you're allowed life choices, naive as they may be. But if you express it in a public arena, especially on a science forum, expect it to be treated with the derision it deserves.
