What you make of them may become politics, but politics have this unfortunate twist of always pushing up the wrong 'cream' to the top as it ends, Doesn't matter where you look. And this is because you're playing it inside the game. The game becomes rigged from the beginning by the way you think, core beliefs and instincts.

So politics won't change it, but you might.

If you change then that will be all the revolution needed for the game to change.

It's painfully obvious how incompetently global warming is handled. IMF thinks that it can be solved inside the game, combining constant growth for each nation with a sustainable environment.  " Many environmentalists see a contradiction between the IMF’s pursuit of growth and its new mission to tackle climate change. Georgieva disagrees: “These things are not necessarily against each other. You can have growth and it can be clean, green, sustainable and equitable.” She says her message to the COP 25 is simple: “We all recognise the risks. Now is the time to concentrate on action.”  "

When it comes to oil and gas those companies seem to have another view. One where profit and the market will decide, global warming or not. When it comes to China taking up the climate leader role that USA left behind it, they apparently have built about five times as many new coal fired power plants as been dismantled. "  Elsewhere countries reduced their capacity by 8GW in the 18 months to June because old plants were retired faster than new ones were built. But over the same period China increased its capacity by 42.9GW despite a global move towards cleaner energy sources and a pledge to limit the use of coal.  "

So the scenario with food and other shortages hitting developed country's should soon be here, depending on imports . Migrations and diseases changing location due to a warmer planet is here too. Small arm wars and corruption will follow it. And you can't forget oil and gas, and their geographic location. That's 'geopolitics'. It's a global village and it's getting destroyed.

This at the same time as both Europe and USA have put a lot of money and faith in 'mono farming', of as well animals as agriculture. The same type of behavior that kill off our biological diversity. What it does to the animals depends on what country you look at, but if it was humans that was treated that way the best description probably would be concentration camps.

And it all comes from a same source. Profits and greed. The one we're all responsible for, because you don't want to pay more than you need, do you? Your clothes, your food, your electronics, ad infinitum. A world image built on profits, exploitation and inequality, the 'engine' that we believe drives everything.

Although Earth doesn't seem to agree

We're very good at rationalize away our responsibility. We're also very good at ignoring what we don't want to see. Our chances of handling global warming are getting slimmer by the minute. Too much greed and too much ignorance. If you think of it this police battalion may seem extreme, but the behavior seems to exist 'latently' in each one of us. It's just a question of making it 'me' versus 'them', and there we go.

The game was corrupt from the beginning, but earth seemed to have room for it. When it stopped being so we got global warming. And the reason to why we keep on playing the same game can be found in how we look at our world. We think us 'owning it' and so we can do what we like with it. Earth got tired and now we're getting evicted.

Because that is the game, isn't it? To die owning as much as you can. More rooms than you need, more clothes, more toys, more of everything. And what is does to those producing you don't know, you're totally disconnected from that process. You're disconnected from the world.

And everyone wants to play it.

Time to find a better game

So can you disconnect efforts for curbing global warming from the internal and external politics of a country? No, that's impossible under the current game. We live in a climate where surveillance techniques are taking over the responsibility of police and informers. In China facial recognition seem to be the new tool for controlling people, the same trend exist in USA. Google with its 'don't be evil' motto now develops algorithms for miltary drones.

" All mobile phone users in China registering new SIM cards must submit to facial recognition scans, according to a new rule that went into effect across the country on Sunday......  The measure, described by the ministry of industry and information as a way to “protect the legitimate rights and interest of citizens in cyberspace”, makes Chinese mobile phone and internet users easier to track. "

A game that builds on inequality existing is now getting unprecedented access to us all, our private opinions and movements. And is left in the hands of a few choosen protectors of the same game.

We shouldn't forget UK here. How many surveillance cameras has been set up in London?

So when global warming force the game to acknowledge it, those techniques will be used, not to curb global warming though, to curb you.

We really are a herd, all of us, aren't we? Trusting and ignorant.
Don't you ever get tired of being like that?

And it is the same game everywhere. You meet someone calling for a revolution and what happens? The same cream floating up again with you fading away into obscurity. As long as you think of it as politics you're just fooling yourself.

It's always about you, your dreams and your greed. The ones floating up becoming role models, hiding your own responsibility for others by using hierarchies and your 'politics'.

As I say, this isn't rocket science. You just need to stop thinking in political terms to see how the human world work. Doesn't matter where you look, does it?
