Dearest Latent-Energyologists,

As a sheepie I of course receive all the energy I need from fruit smoothies and pizzas...

Bulbs That Are Lit From The Air

Energy, as ewe well know........ is magic power that fairies leave when they fly by Pylons.

Even though pylons are not everywhere there must still be oodles of energy (I don't mean solar energy) like the stuff that powers those bulbs floating around everywhere.

Is it possible to harness this latent energy somehow ?..It would be good wouldn't it to convert it to run a car or even an aeromobile or most importantly..my new blender which helps me make non newtonian froot smoothies !

Heat pumps can make use of this energy to heat water and our homes.

yes, yes..there is thermal energy too !....we are well on our way to sorting out the earth's energy problems with dangley things from space and thermal energy collectors that we can keep in our pockets.....A bit like a hot potato !...yes...this will work !

I have to wonder if that 'photo' is real.  At a rough estimate, about 400+ florescent tubes have been used and it would have been quit expensive to set the shot up, not just in terms of the cost of the tubes but also in the amount of time to set it up.

On the other hand it would be pretty easy to fake it using 3D software, especially as the lighting of the ground seems to show little correlation with the illumination from the tubes themselves, both with regard to coverage and to the lighting colour.

I suspect the first image in this thread is a double exposure: a brief one at dusk to record the sky, and a very long one after the sky is black to record the weak glow of the tubes, i.e. the image makes the tubes look brighter than they would have appeared to the eye.

Exactly. If you take a look at the original post picture you can see a shadow for each light bulb all facing away from one light source coming from the left. If those light bulbs where lit up by themselves as much as they seem to be those shadows would not show this way I believe. There would be at least multiple shadows. Maybe none.
Also, the light bulbs in the background do not seem to shine as much as the ones in the foreground. Another reason to believe that there is an external light source behind the camera.

There are photographs at the website though that are more convincing. None of those shadows.
