I hate to say it but it seems this thread may have come to an end. The momentum is gone !

Just looking back the last few days above ..I can't believe that between Feb 1st and Feb 9th there were no posts !!...none from jan 28th to Feb 1st

I am not thinking about closing the thread but I doubt it will ever get back to the way it was.

I think it's HORRIBLE that Neil is completely correct.  We've all been very remiss and I'M SORRY!!!   [:-'(]  I'll come back if the rest of you will!

Lo - Your trip sounds fabulous.  We went to the UK for 15 days back in '95.  (Or was it '97?)  Anyway, we flew into Gatwick, rented a car, drove up the east coast all the way to Loch Ness (stopping wherever caught our fancy,) then back down the center through the Potteries and back to London.  (Also took one day for the Chunnel Day Trip to Paris - AWESOME!!!  [] [] [])  Best vacation of our lives.  I just finished the taxes and we're getting a bigger refund than expected, so maybe we'll make it after all.  Keep your fingers crossed!!  []

Oops!   [:0]  After 5 o'clock and it's blizzarding outside, so I'd better scoot.  More soon!

OH, wow...did not know we were missed that badly...I am in and out just like a door...pretty soon i won't be working two jobs as I will have to resign before leaving to Europe...

Jody, I will land in Gatwick then my little friend Anthony will pick us up and we will be in London for most of the day.  We will stay in Wales and fly off from Cardiff to Amsterdam, then over to Brussels, and a few hotspots there, then flying to Frankfurt, Germany see my son before he heads back here and I will meet him once I get through exploring but must fly back to Cardiff. Then go back to London catch my flight back home.  Paris, not this time...but will see other spots...

 Man Jody that is where our temps were a couple of weeks It was unbearably cold.. I ended up purchasing an electric heater  to keep warm!! Hugs, snuggle in keep toasty.. Happy Valentines DAy if you celebrate.. If you don't have a great day anyway! Me is ready for summer too!!
