    There are a number of magnetic, copper, and "power" bracelets. 

    They would be adequate for cosmetic and decorative purposes.

    As far as altering physiologic functions...  nothing has ever been proven as being more effective than the placebo effect.

    Well, they do seem to be an effective means of separating people from their hard earned cash. So, they do work in that sense.
