Looking at art, there certainly has been a change in the characterization of beauty over the last few centuries, or even the last few decades.
Obviously there is a large person to person variability. However, I am surprised at the marked male/female differences.
It would be interesting to make a cross-racial comparison, as well as looking at archeological changes in facial features.
