At the moment, there simply isn’t enough evidence to prove that cannabinoids – whether natural or synthetic – works to treat cancer in patients, although research is ongoing. And there’s certainly no evidence that ‘street’ cannabis can treat cancer.
The Lancet Oncology, Volume 6, Issue 1, Pages 35 - 42, January 2005Cannabinoids and cancer: causation, remediation, and palliation... As yet there is no evidence that THC or other cannabinoids have anticancer effects in humans. Third, Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) may treat the symptoms and side-effects of cancer, and there is evidence that it and other cannabinoids may be useful adjuvant treatments that improve appetite, reduce nausea and vomiting, and alleviate moderate neuropathic pain in patients with cancer.
I would think that Hemp oil would be just about the same as Cannabis oil, minus the THC. So, if it is just the oil, then one might try the hemp which presumably is easier to acquire.
There seems to be a group of people that have had very positive results by using Cannabis oil in the treatment of some cancers.Does anyone here have an opinion about this? I know it is an illegal substance in most countries but in America there seems to be reports coming in of it being used successfully to treat patients. Has there been any serious scientific study into these claims?
Although this isn't cancer, I thought this would be interesting to share. My nephew suffers from cerebral palsy disorder. ....

when doctors started to decrease the use of opiates more and more patients with chronic pain started to kill themselves because living with intractable pain is too much for anybody to live with.
Hopefully medical marijuana will help as many people as possible.
