Can goats climb trees?

It would be hard to be sure. I have heard of some goats climbing trees. This one would be much harder to fake.

Mountain goats can climb mountain sides that would challenge people to climb.
Goats will eat just about anything. Looking at your photo, I don't see a thing left at ground level that is green. That tree with the goats in it also appears to be quite stripped of foliage. The paucity of foliage would indicate to me that the goats likely have spent some time in the tree.

Here is another goat photo (Alpine Ibex). Hopefully it doesn't make you too queezy just looking at it.

Tree climbing goats? Ridiculous and impossible.
Goat climbing trees? Bizarre but feasible.

You'd be surprised at what some animals can do. Tree climbing is not the preserve of cats and goats.....
