Do Insects ever get fat ?

Do Insects ever get fat ?

Well, I'm overweight...Ive seen other mammals who enjoy extra layers of Adipose tissue,

but what about insects ?...some of them eat juicy fatty grubs !!..but I have yet a see a fat ant !!

Whysthatthen ?

Good question, but I imagine their digestion system is different then ours and they probably use different elements of the protein and dispose the bad portions, who knows, but that is interesting and I wonder if anyone has looked into that further as a way to compair ours with theirs in an obeisity aspect!

 I don't know about that!! I have some pretty good dreams while being awake, although sometimes, I am not sure weather I am asleep or awake cause I am so tired!!

I bet he has some doozies!! They'd probably raise the eyebrows!! LOL

Technically, you could say that queen termites are quite fat. The same can be said of honeypot ants.

Hey Neil, we need to start calling you "Grub" after those huge things natives all over the tropics pull out of rotting logs and eat raw. I think they are beetle larvae. The get rather large and rotund.

DOUBLE YUCK!!! Did you ever see that fear factor where they were eating the grubs????? YUCKKKKKKKKKKKKY made me wretch!!!! I had to turn away... then I had to leave as turning away was not good enough as their wretching was making me wretch thinking about ity!!!! YUCK!!!

No, but the law states if you are in possession of the item 90% is yours...I still have papers on those heels...gggrrrrr!  I do have some mushroom swiss burgers that I can bring for you from burger king when I get to the UK???  batting my eyes innocently!

Oh My GAWWWWWWWWWWD !!...EWE remembered my favorite burger !!!.....YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY !!!....OK !! it's a deal...but I hope I won't have to wait for 6 months whilst the burgers are in quarantine ..LOL
