I just started taking Methionine last week and will post my results in 6 weeks. @Vandemolen3 - have you tried this amino acid also?

First, I wish You all a Happy New Year! [O8)]

As the new year is closing in, I'd like to sum up my experiences and know-how I gained this year:

-My case seems to be rather a psychological than a physiological one. You can see it in my protocol.

My protocol, evening release:

I'm on Klonopin and Prozac on a daily basis, because nothing else helped so well. I'm on psychotherapy, I find it important so I could get into a good direction, as well as to sort things out!

Right after the release:
-Relora (5-8, *250 mg)
-Valerian (2-4 pills - it equals to about 750 mg of GABA)
-CaMg (ratio: 2:1)
-Nuplus (a "Sunrider" product, one portion)
-Maca (6 tabs, 3 g)

...and a decent 8-9 hour sleep. (Those tranquillizers help)

The morning after:

-Valerian (1 pill)
-Nuplus (a Sunrider product, one portion)
-Maca (1 g)

Throughout the day:

-Relora (2-6-8 caps)
-Maca (1-2 g)
-Nuplus (1-2 portions)

About my protocol: each one of the abovementioned are important, they seem to work together. I believe my situation is not about my testosterone levels, since Tribulus T. drove my testo through the roof, but did not help. On the contrary, It boosted my libido up to hell, reminding me of my teenager years.

About Maca:I can feel the effect recent studies claim about it: no effect on testo, but a balancing effect on hormone levels. (Google them, if you wish) Maca turned out to be a good weapon. The same for Relora and Nuplus.

Other good things:
Balanced diet. (Less dairy, more veggies, etc)
Sports.
Decent sleep.(!)

We had a great new years eve!! Family, barbeque (it's summer here) garden torches, music, Orion high in the midnight sky...

But the 12 yr old rum was too good. I can't party like I used to. Thank GOD I'm not in POIS!!

I have the feeling that POIS though, makes one more sensitive to "hangoveres". I mean the rum was good, but two shouldn't cause such a headache!

What's other's experience with hangovers and POIS. I'm not really sure that I've had the two together.

Wow, daveman, thanks for posting that.

I've posted here a number of times how even very little alcohol-indulgence on my part has resulted in severe POIS-type hangovers. 2 beers could create DAYS of misery!

Same thing with jet lag. And exercise.

To my mind (and body) this all "feels" like hormonal and neurotransmitter goofiness. Big time!

It's worth repeating: please don't look to this as the final, definitive, end-all, cure-all-forever to POIS! You might be less disappointed if you just look at it as a terrific new bright spot in POIS research.

And I hope that I'm wrong!!! [
