Time travel proved a massive misconception.
« on: 09/07/2020 14:00:08 »
Hi, I have just found that the physics community misunderstood the time dilation equation given in the theory of relativity.
Δt' = Δt/ √1-(v/c)²
Here, I am not saying that the equation is wrong. But the physics community misunderstood and misinterpreted the equation and now they think that they can control time.
With my newly found discovery, I can claim that even after million years, with the help of high tech science and technology or even aliens come to help you. You can't find a way to control the time.
In my theory, I have proved these few points.
1. Time travel is a massive misconception.
2. Sir Hinton gave the idea of fifth dimension, not fourth.
3. Human psychology about time.
4. Correct understanding of time, time travel, parallel dimensions and how to create a second timeline.
Presently, I have published my work in the form of a book, [Mod: book plug removed]  on Amazon.
My question is, should I patent my theory? In India, theory are not patentable that's why I have published it in the form of a book to have copyrights of the idea.
Moreover, it will be good if any good natured, humble, not arrogant and a good listener physicists, professor should contact me if any exist on this forum.
I just wish to share my understanding of time with him and wish to explain how the time dilation equation is misunderstood by not only a single person, but by the whole world, including Einstein.
If my theory proved right, ace physicists like RL Mallet won't be wasting their precious lives on a concept which is only a misconception.
You can contact me via skype [Mod: Personal contact info removed]
Thank you.

Mod edit: Please lay out your ideas here and do not point to a book or webpage.

Since the present physics understanding and interpretation of that equation has been supported by actual experiment and observation countless times, I seriously doubt that.   It is much more likely that you don't really know what the present physics understanding of the equation is.

You cannot patent a theory or copyright an idea.

Had you invented a means of travelling through time, or preventing it, that would have been patentable worldwide but preferably kept secret.

Evidence of naturally occurring time travel might be patentable in the USA but the patent would not be recognised in the civilised world.

“Obviously, you will agree with the answer that by technology or science human will be able to find a way to travel back in time, to travel forth in time and to stop the time as per his will. Right?”

Totally wrong!  Could be a good way to put people off trying your book, though.

Please present your idea for discussion. If you don't, then this is looking like an attempt to advertise your book. Advertisement is against the rules.

Perhaps discussion is not high on the list of priorities.

I understand your concern. However, it is true. I am going to post the whole idea in brief.

Sure, I am going to post my idea as new thread. No, this is not for an advertisement. I am on the forum just to confirm my idea because when you speak against a set trend people do not believe it. So, if you are moderator, you may delete this thread as I am new to forum and I don't even know how to insert an image in my post.
Please read my other post which I am going to explain the whole idea in brief. Hope it will give you an idea what I want to say.

You don’t need to start a new thread, just present the main points of your ideas in this one.

By the way, this statement is incorrect “But the physics community misunderstood and misinterpreted the equation and now they think that they can control time.“ No physicist thinks they can control time.

Please see the proof that I have posted as a new thread. Apologies, it will take some time to understand the forum workings. And my new ideas on gravity, photons and time will be posted appropriately.
