Apparently this is the first agreement that actually mentions the dreaded phrase "fossil fuels"! Anyway it's all over now, back to business as usual.

As for renewables, the coldest UK days in the past week were (as always) those with no wind. And there is very little sunlight this time of year.

But there was a whole 4 hours of sunshineat a 30 degree angle, once the sun made it above the trees.

Which would have been vaguely useful were it not for a tree protection order (trees being renewable fuel) around my property, which restricted the direct sunlight to about 2 hours.
