Does anyone know what's the scientific term for Adam's Apple? I know it's definetly not that because Science and Religion have so much conflict, scientist will not use such term.

The adam's apple is the 'laryngeal prominence' and is part of the 'thyroid cartilage' which, together with the cricoid cartilage which sits below, houses the vocal cords. The thyroid gland sits towards the bottom and in front of the cartilage. You can feel your thyroid if you place a hand gently on the neck below the 'adam's apple' and swallow. The thyroid tissue is the bit that moves.
