Just want to say Hi!

Hi there!

I just found this forum a few days ago when I was searching an englishspeaking forum that would fit my interests. I had to find out, that this is not that easy (didn´t find a good forum for general book-discussions..they are allways related to special themes or authors).
But then I got to this forum and I´m amazed. The last few days I spend a bit with just reading through the sections, and what I found was quite intresting! So I decided to register today.
I hope you will be patient with me and my english-writing-skills. I was searching for an english forum, because i noticed, that understanding spoken and written english is just not the same, than to have to use it yourself. It´s so much harder to impress yourself, find the right words and (especially [ $:-\$ ] ) tenses. But I would really like to get much more into this. And I thought being active in a forum would be a fun way. (so please feel free to correct me, if I´m doing the same mistake over and over again ;-) ).

Ny the way, I´m from Germany, 26 years old, student of a biological subject and therefor my major intrests are in biological, natural sciences.
