Anyone seen ' Anatomy for Beginners' ?
« on: 29/01/2005 18:11:40 »
Has anyone watched the series 'Antatomy for Beginners' that was put out on Channel 4 here in the UK over four nights ?

I found it facinating and extraordinary http://www.channel4.com/science/microsites/A/anatomy/ and certainly quite queezy making !! especially the first program dealing with movement and the last that dealt with reproduction. Click on the link and then on one of the topics to the right.......... movement, circulation , digestion and reproduction and you'll see just a pinch of the 50 minute progs.

That Dr Gunther von Hagens  is quite the eccentric and the progarm was balanced with the calm collected informative descriptions by his co host Professor John A Lee . I was just left in awe as to how incredible the human body is.

I think it was quite brave of channel 4 to show complete human disecctions like that....but not that surprising that they should be the ones to air such programs.

Actually Neil, we interviewed John Lee on last week's show before the anatomy series began...

just thought I'd drop that in.
