Hi all,

just thought you American lot would like to know that I'll be visiting your country this week for the AAAS in DC. I suspect that the customs officers will be as anal, affable, and polite as ever, but I'm nontheless looking forward to the experience (not the customs people, the conference !).

Surprisingly the press conference on Thursday is at 10.00 I was expecting 5 am or something !

looks like it should be a fun conention chris, I'm jealous.  hell, i'd be happy just to go to DC again, let alone the confrence.  the best itallian resturaunt i've ever eaten at was in DC.  No clue where exactly it was, just a tiny hole in the wall place, but if i was out there again, I'd find it..... somehow.

The food at the hotel was terrible. The science was good though, and I think we put some interesting stuff out on the radio.
