Darkness surrounds me here at this time!
I try to pray, but the words I can't find.

My heart is beating so slowly, my breaths are so shallow!
I feel his life over me, just like a shadow!

I try to cry out and my voice no longer helps me, the silence is so loud that my own heartbeat is lost in the darkness that surrounds me!

 I'm Feeling lost and afraid in this dark place I know, So I must see with my mind for my heart won't let go!

I must not give in and allow it to take me,
I must hold on and not let it break me!

 I have to hang on and climb up again, but Please God, Please God, Hold tight to my friend!

Thank you Helena!  I thought I would take you and Karen back of out of your world of reality and have you swing to the otherside of my warped daydreaming mind one day...I wish I still had the poetry when each of my kids were born...but I lost a lot of poetry, short stories I wrote, and much more...from a fire in 1998...I did not write again until 2003 as it was hard to be motivated to do so again...but here I am, writing all over again.  Thanks Karen!  You guys are the best...I may have to write something specific for you guys...hmmm...getting ideas

Butterfly Kisses


Today I sent you butterfly kisses gently on the breeze, in hopes they would find you and set your spirit free!

I pressed my lips against my hands and held them out into the wind, each one lifted high above to light down on my own true love!

I felt their touch so lightly land there, upon your tender lips, I knew that moment was sealed in time, forever in that kiss!

Your heart, cring out to be with mine, as well My heart cries out to you! So with every Kiss I send your way, I'm telling you I love you!!

Sending butterfly kisses to surround you as you move through out your day! My heart is completely enraptured by the love that you display!

No words can really tell you, how my heart is all a flutter, that each time I think of you my heart just melts like Butter!

So I'll keep my kisses gently blowing to you upon the breeze, and each time you feel it touching your face you'll know that it is me!

So softly fly my butterfly kisses to my love this day, and bring his love right back to me, in the same, sweet tender way!

Beginning of Time for You and Me

It is a matter of time before we meet in NY.
You are in love with me you say, and all I can say is wow?
It was hard to believe but, I believe you now.
I can't understand it Denny, but you seem so genuine and true.
Many things I see that are in your heart.
So many mysteries that I am sure you are not ready to part.

Denny why have you chosen me, I haven't a clue?
A great distance between us with an ocean of blue.
I pray that you have not made a big mistake by giving me your heart so soon?
Tell me this is a dream that will come true before next June?

Honey, I am hoping that one day this will be.
A journey into our destiny just for you and me.
I know you have patience to wait for my heart.
And I think it is on it's way to help me start.

A new life perhaps, A new day, A moment in time for us that could be forever.
