It depends on what you define as a sense and whether you'd lump some senses together as a single sense or count them as individual senses. Consider touch, for example. You can perceive differences in both pressure and temperature with your fingers. Would you consider the pressure and temperature senses to be two seperate senses, or would you lump them together as part of a single sense?Even the ability to tell the passage of time might be considered a sense.Wikipedia has a lot to say about this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Senses
Hearing Sheepy's Baaa is his 5th sense but we know Sheepy has lost some hearing in one ear.. do you suppose that's why Sheepy left out that very important sense?
