These islamic warriors must be so proud. I mean how brave they are to detonate multiple explosions in public places, at no risk to themselves of course, in a busy capital city that generates the wealth, comfortable life, and social security handouts of which they probably all too gladly avail themselves.

What model citizens. What role models. Gosh, wouldn't the world be a better place if we could all be as brave, successful and clear-headed as them.

In reality, the fact that many of them live in this country, and take advantage of the very lifestyle that they claim to decry, shows precisely what hypocrits these islamic extremists are.

They are jerks. They are stupid and selfish cowards. No one here cares two hoots for their silly ideas or their daft religious fervour. And every time they do something like this, their hot-headed ill-conceived reactionary behaviour proves us right. Who's going to take seriously someone who is prepared to blow up people in train stations, at no risk to themselves.

They are disrupting the G8 conference which is intended to help poverty-stricken nations. By buggering it up they are indirectly insulting also the people in Africa and elsewhere whom it is designed to help. This ain't going to win them much sympathy for islam or any other cause. In fact, it creates a huge backlash and destroys bridges, trust and understanding that are slowly being forged between east and west.

These people are sad and friendless.

its a bit scary down here, I arrived at the tube station nearest work just as they were closing teh system down, thousands of people being refused entry, although no announcemnets as to what was going on at that time.

those of us who got to work before the chaos have been told to stay in the building. not that we'll be going home any time soon anyway, with no transport at all! the phones are down too, although most landlines are OK I only seem to have mobile numbers for most people, but I think I've heard from everyone I know who is in London and they're all safe.

I hope everyone else on the site who resides or works in London are OK too.

I had to come back here to say I was fifty metres away from the bus in Russell Square when it blew !...I hope to make a healthy return to the site soon, but my thoughts are with the casualties and families....those fxxking terrorists, those fundamental extremist cxnts, there is never any understanding them, and I hope I never do...but when you believe you are doing gods will, there will never be a way to convince them anyway...I can't say anything else....too fXXking traumatised.....!!

Cheers Mike..........In hindsight, and thinking about it, I was probably further away than I thought..I just heard this massive bang and people around me, including me just bowed down...I have to go back tomorrow to work, I'll be driving past Kings Cross where I get out every day.......I will pucker up !..I am a moody bugger !!....have decided to treat every day now as if it could be the last and enjoy life. Here's a tip.... ALWAYS leave your loved ones on a positive note !!
