And why the dichotomy between trust and realpolitik. My own opinion is that you can find the origin of that in each one of us. Greed and egoism. Sometimes also creating a hubris.

It all goes back to trust, doesn't it? Do you trust them? For what, keeping a shareholder happy?

Maybe it's greed wanting to be shared. Somewhat like corruption as well as a way to bribe people into compliance.

As soon as you're part of it you will find it rather hard to refuse other developments in the same direction, no matter what you think personally about it. You're already implicated.

So, how much do you trust this behavior? 'The market knows best'?

The system we created inevitably seem to lift up the wrong kind of people, doesn't it?

In a general way of speaking we need to look at much more than just global warming if we want something good to come out of this.

And what is the point of this then?

Well, business as always will lead us to extinction.
