Well, ok, maybe I stand corrected. They've made a 'meta study' over others study's. But that is the same as 'indirect evidence' in physics to me. I find myself skeptic to those, and maybe it is what make me react. I prefer direct evidence to indirect, if it is possible. In this case it should be possible.

If I would be to make a recommendation I would suggest that the wording 'strongly believe' should be avoided as far as possible in Climate science. Just present the study's and the conclusions, let people decide for themselves. It reminds me too much of Guardians tries to change the language around global warming. It doesn't make sense to me.

Let me be clear about one thing.

Hmm, ah well, seems to have lost it somewhat yesterday. Doesn't really matter does it? You still have to decide for yourself what you think is worthwhile living for.

Ever heard about a Janus symbol? Somebody looking, or in this case moving, two ways at the same time. Norway is a beautiful example of that.  " In 2018, the district court confirmed that the right to a healthy environment is an enforceable human right protected by article 112 of Norway’s constitution. However, the judge accepted the government’s claim that Norway has no responsibility for carbon emissions resulting from burning Norwegian oil and gas outside of Norway. Hence the appeal by the environmental organisations. " That was the result of a appeal to stop the search for further exploitation of possible oil and gas wells.

At the same time Norway is the 'leading consumer' of electrical cars. They have a waiting list now because the production can't satisfy the demand. A result of the Norwegian governments subsidiaries. There's a lot of hydro power in Norway which is one reason why it makes sense. it's 'clean energy'.

But they are missing the whole point, aren't they. Global warming doesn't care about who consumes fossil power, it doesn't matter if the oil and gas is sold outside Norway.
