Some things don't keep inside a specified border, as radioactivity, or CO2. Fukushima reached USA, Chernobyl reached Sweden. CO2 reach a whole earth.

What is so weird about it all is that this is not rocket science. It's very obvious that the engine is inequality and exploitation. Egoism, greed and core beliefs. That's one reason why I think of us as herd animals, we choose what we want to see and refuse to see what we instinctively know will rub our circles the wrong way. And that's also a social glue of sorts.

And it mostly works, it keeps us together, but it also means that when something like f.ex a major nuclear war with dirty and salted bombs comes we won't know how to handle it. We think we do but a nuclear war will be very different from any war fought before.

And then we have global warming, that's even worse as it is so inconspicuous, the century passed hasn't really showed us its real magnitude. It's slow, seen from a human perspective counted in generations, each one consisting of just a few decades. Geologically speaking its extremely fast as I understands it but that's not the way we think. And the really dangerous thing about it is that it's 'aftereffects' will stay for centuries. Which means that if we stopped using fossils today, scraping our cars, stopping those industries needing it ad infinitum it will still act for at least ten generations, and this is all presuming that there is no tippings taking part already. And if we count in the 'tail' of it? Now we're talking millenniums.

It's outside our reference frame.

Seems like there only is a few of us able to look at those time perspectives. Maybe it's about imagination, you have to be able to imagine it, and if you refuse it won't happen. Which doesn't make it go away, but as seen from you it might just as well do. You probably will be dead before its real magnitude hits humanity.

The old way of handling a situation as you must won't do any good here, by then it will be too late.

We made an idea called politics, it was needed to balance up a uncontrolled greed and egoism. Then we used it to define global warming. That was a big mistake. Global warming is not about politics. Its result may be called 'political' if you like as it involves sharing and fairness. But from another tentacle that's the only way we will get out of it. You can't expect people starving to death accepting you hoarding.

But you do, and that's how the arms industry grows ever more. It's your defense because you 'own' that hoard, it's yours. No matter how you got it.

As I say, Norway becomes a beautiful example of the way we think.

greedy, egoistical, thinking that the world only can exist by profit. We're so out of control those days and the momentum from the way we think makes it impossible to change course.

And it's not about developed countries versus developing. The only ones that had different ideas are those we exterminated.

So I don't give a sh* about the blame game. It's true of course, but what also is true is that it could have been someone else, and they would not be different.  And that goes for countries as well as people. Because in the end it's about you, and your dreams.

My opinion is that this game we made lift up the wrong people. Turning to them asking them to change the game is not going to work. After all, they are your role models.

And no, working 'politically' for a change is also questionable. Because we need more than that. Politics are in a best case a plaster we use to cover up injustice, inequality,  greed and profits, egoism... ad nauseam. In a worst case it's the opposite.

Politically mean that you can't make up your mind about yourself. Preferring it to be someone else's problem, a 'SEP'. Your role models acting for you. Sure, do it if you like, but not before you took that look at yourself.

So if we take something like the world bank I would say they are doing their best to paint a bright future, inside the game. It's not that they are insincere about wishing for the best, but they accept the rules and live by them. That leaves them a restricted area in where to think and act.

And those leading the game don't bother about the morality of what they do. You role models know the rules of the game.
