Species there won't have anywhere to go soon. It's the same mechanism behind it as with those species existing in warm low-oxygen waters. they have somewhere to migrate to, at least for the next decades or century. They go to the water that used to be colder, if they survive their migrations. It's called global warming.

Lakes without out and inlets should be the first to notice it in, shouldn't they? Species disappearing. Then you have the way some species, like salmon, return to to play and procreate. There is this problem with a good education. It may instill a feeling of superiority in you, a false sense of knowing what is best at all times. Sweden and our other Nordic Countries are often lifted forward as some 'green example'. I don't agree to that, if we take Sweden then what exist today is a result of the past. And a past that had no knowledge of global warming. The people here today are kept as ignorant as you, well, almost.  They also seem to prefer it that way. They don't get it, just as you, and they too think they can 'push it' into a future.

I can put it this way. Global warming not only threatens our earth, what is worse is that it threatens our game. That's one of the main reasons why you won't see the BBC discussing global warming in anything but positive terms. It threatens your beliefs and it threatens your ideals. It threatens your life style, your consumption, what you believe 'always' have been that way. On a personal plane it becomes something of a refusal for you to see, and accept, because if you did you would have to change.
